One of the higher education institutions in Valencia is the California Institute of the Arts, as well as other post-secondary education institutions; some of their closest opportunities are Glendal Community College, Antelope Valley College, and the University of California - Los Angeles campus, all within 30 miles of Valencia. REAL ESTATE
Sales of existing single-family homes dropped in the Santa Clarita Valley during the month of October the Southland Regional Association of Realtors® reported.

Realtors® closed escrow on 336 homes, But this is a increase over the previous year which had a total of 297 homes sold in September 2010. 

With more activity coming in the lower price ranges, the median price of the single-family homes sold slipped to $450,000.
